Mr. Robert Genualdi, "the new headmaster at Warde, is a truly sincere, honest, and caring human being who has a real concern for others. He is very much impressed by the friendliness of those at Warde." Edward Shine, who previously was a guidance housemaster at Ludlowe, was the assistant headmaster.
Clerical personnel included Helen Varaljay, the secretary to the headmaster, Dorothy Hricus, the receptionist, and Eva McLevy, the secretary to the assistant headmaster.
Barlow faculty included Helen Guarnaccia, a Spanish teacher who can still be seen around town doing her grocery shopping, Benjamin Guerra, who is active as an usher at St. Pius X Church, Robert Jackson, Theodore Huminski, and Mr. Tavares.
Some of the more memorable Barlow faculty from 30 years ago included Ray Buzak, with his bow ties, Robert Beauchamp, Frank Bent, Frederick Basserman, and Patricia Clark.
The caption states, "Ed Lominsky is not only a teacher to his students, but also a friend." He`s still at Warde to this day coaching boys` tennis. Other Fitts faculty members included Edward Donovan and F. William Davis.
Fitts faculty members also included the highly-respectable Malcolm MacIntyre, Elmer Kish, Janice Kennedy, and Beatrice MacKenzie.
What a cast of characters in Wolcott! Salesmanship and Business Basics with Leonard Bennett, gym with Ed Bengermino, English with Charles Abraham, and Abraham`s future wife, Pat Cabana. John Beggs and Frank Ambrose (who could ever forget driving with him?) round out the crew.
"Unforgettable" can best summarize the Wolcott faculty members. Arnold Wile, Housemaster William Bogg, Dean Earl Bradley, and guidance counselor Helen Carroll were just some of the names from the past.
Wolcott faculty also included Spanish teacher Miss Rodriguez, Frank Flint, Frances Krala, Janice Lavery, Mildred Laskey, and John Honey, who transferred to Ludlowe this year.
